We’ve had another momentous occasion this week with the celebration of Brian Koch’s 10 year anniversary at Sequal. He joins Stuart Hazeldine as the second one to achieve this feat. As Yard Manager and one of our directors, Kochee has been an important part of the team since he gave up his dairy farming (and Jockey underwear modelling) to become a sawmiller.
To mark the event, we erected a plaque and planted a native Titoki tree at the mill entrance to honour Brian and commemorate the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into the past 10 years at Sequal.
