As we head into the cooler months, the focus shifts a bit. Shorter days, colder nights — and for some in our community, that can make things a little tougher.
That’s why we continue to back the work of Kawerau and Districts Ageing in Place (KADAP). The support they provide helps local seniors stay in their homes, connected to their community, and set up for the season.
For our first Give More Day of the year, the team got stuck in delivering firewood across Kawerau. Nothing complicated — just practical support where it’s needed.
Days like this are a good reminder of what can be achieved when people come together with a shared purpose. A big thanks to Karen and the KADAP team for the work they do behind the scenes to make it all happen. We’re proud to stand alongside them and be part of a community that looks out for its own.
