At Sequal, we have a real passion for helping youth achieve their dreams and each year, we join forces with the Bay of Plenty branch of the Decision Reach Out (Toro Mai) Trust who have done an incredible job for many years with an initiative set up to help enable youth to achieve their potential.
We come together to give the new leaders of Tarawera High School an experience to remember for years to come at the Hillary Outdoors Programme in the Tongariro National Park. The programme encourages them to step out of their comfort zone, aims to bring them closer together as a leadership unit, and helps support them with their own personal development.
Last week we were lucky enough to attend this year’s school prizegiving to acknowledge and celebrate the many student achievements aswell as the announcement of student leaders for 2021. Congratulations to all prize winners – there truly were some phenomenal accomplishments this year. All newly appointed leaders for 2021 should be incredibly proud of their selections and all of us at Sequal wish them all the best for their leadership journey next year and beyond.
