At Sequal, we believe that when our people grow, we all grow.
Over the past 16 weeks, a group of our team spent Tuesday afternoons taking part in Aspire2’s Emerging Leaders programme, building new skills, sharing ideas and giving a few new things a go.
Over the 16 weeks, the team picked up practical skills they can use at work and at home. They explored everything from communication and resilience to problem solving and cyber security, with every session offering something practical to take away.
It wasn’t all books and discussions, either. Team challenges like blind drawing and building towers out of marshmallows and spaghetti had everyone working together, thinking on their feet and having a few laughs. They were a great reminder that good communication, trust and teamwork make all the difference.
One of the team summed it up perfectly:
“Each session gave us practical knowledge that we could apply both in the workplace and in our everyday lives. The team-building activities were a real highlight and reinforced the importance of working together.”
A big thanks to Rochelle, Sharon and the Aspire2 team for sharing their knowledge and making the programme such a great experience.
And to everyone from Sequal who took part—well done. We’re looking forward to seeing those new skills put to use!
