Sequal gives toys to children in special care

Sequal were pleased to start the year with an opportunity to give toys as gifts to about 40 children in the Shenzhen Angelland Disabled children Caring  Center, China.

The opportunity was developed in partnership with Maxim, a large toy manufacturer in China and customer of Sequal Lumber.

We like to support our key customers and had been thinking about how we could purchase toys from Maxim’s new toy range to encourage them in this new business. We decided giving the toys to children with need in China made perfect sense.

Shenzhen Angelland Disabled children Caring  Center mainly provide support to children with cerebral palsy and their families. It’s a great centre and we are very proud to have been able to support them in this way, all be it small.

Maxim have a great range of wooden toys, many of which are made from New Zealand Pine, from Sequal. They sell through China and export across the world.

We are enjoying a growing relationship with Maxim. They are a professional company that makes quality products.  They value custom cut lumber which they purchase to optimise their cost efficiency.
