Sequal adds more operational strength

Sequal welcomes Clinton Boyes to the team.

International demand for Sequal’s unique custom cut lumber is driving investment into both plant and people.

Earlier this year Sequal installed its first kilns. The geothermal powered Windsor kilns have allowed the company to grow its product range and open up new markets.

Over the Christmas break, Sequal will replace it’s log infeed, allowing it to run faster and increase recovery.

And in September this year Clinton Boyes joined Sequal as head of operations.

In this role Clinton will add significant engineering and production capability, two areas he has had an accomplished track record in the paper industry. He also brings an innovative perspective to the wood processing business and shares Sequal’s passion for developing the Kawerau community.

“I’m a forestry sector fanatic who comes with a Production Management, Business Development & Process Engineering skill set from the Pulp & Paper sector”. Clinton explains.

I believe that Sequal has fantastic opportunity to become significant business within the Forestry Sector and that can contribute positively to the Local community.  I’m looking to improving/extending/growing the organisation to become a highly efficient and effective mill that we can all be proud of!”
